In Pictures: Ningbo and Varna – Maritime bonds, growing ties

With the continuous expansion of cooperation between China and Central and Eastern European countries (CEEC), there are good prospects for development. The fourth China-CEEC Expo in Ningbo provides a mutually beneficial platform for economic and trade cooperation.

Varna is located on the west coast of the Black Sea. As the largest comprehensive port in Bulgaria, its annual import and export volume accounts for 20 percent of the country's total.

As sister cities, Varna and Ningbo have carried out in-depth exchanges and cooperation in many fields, including culture, education, economy and trade. The upcoming expo also serves as a window for further exchanges between the two cities.
