Novak Djokovic earned his 100th career French Open victory, a mark only surpassed among men's tennis players by Rafael Nadal, after overwhelming Cameron Norrie 6-2, 6-3, 6-2 in the round of 16 on Monday.

The Serbian hasn't conceded a set on his way to this season's quarterfinals at Roland-Garros, where he has won three of his 24 Grand Slam titles.

"I feel good. Every day, I have more expectations about my game, (and with) 12 sets played, 12 sets won, everything is solid and positive," Djokovic said.

The 38-year-old endured a pair of three-match losing streaks earlier this season, but appears to be back in top form lately, including collecting his 100th title at the Geneva Open the week before play got underway in Paris. He also beat Britain's Norrie during his run to the trophy in the Swiss city.

"He was solid today, and he didn't give me anything," Norrie said. "Defending well, serving well, returning well, and very sharp."

Next up for Djokovic is a match against third-seeded Alexander Zverev on Wednesday for a spot in the semifinals. The German advanced when his opponent, Tallon Griekspoor of the Netherlands, retired in the second set due to an abdominal strain.

"He definitely knows how to play tennis. He definitely knows what it means to be on the big stage and to play big matches," Zverev said of Djokovic. "There is no doubt about that."

Djokovic improved to 100-16 at the French Open. Nadal, who retired at the end of last season, went 112-4 while winning a record 14 championships at the clay-court major.

In other action, top-ranked Jannik Sinner's latest dominant performance produced a 6-1, 6-3, 6-4 victory over 17th-seeded Andrey Rublev of Russia to reach the last eight, extending his Grand Slam winning streak to 18 matches.

Sinner is a three-time major champion who won the US Open last September and Australian Open this past January. Now he will try to advance to the semifinals at Roland-Garros for the second consecutive year, when he faces 62nd-ranked Alexander Bublik of Kazakhstan on Wednesday.

Just how good Sinner has been in Paris over the past week-plus? He hasn't dropped a set and has only given up a total of 30 games.

The Italian actually started somewhat slowly against Rublev under the lights on Court Philippe-Chatrier for four points anyway. His Russian opponent earned two break points in the opening game, but Sinner quickly erased those opportunities, and then hit his stride. The World No. 1 faced just one more break point over the rest of the match, and saved that chance as well.

He finished the first set with 10 winners to just three unforced errors, and kept up the pressure on Rublev, en route to a straight-sets obliteration.
