Beijing's new discoveries: Ten routes into the heart of the city

Beijing unveiled 10 inbound themed tourist routes called "Beijing's New Discoveries" at the Beijing Inbound Tourism Development Conference on Tuesday. The routes are designed to highlight Beijing's rich cultural heritage, modern charm, and immersive experiences, further positioning the city as a top global destination and the gateway for inbound tourism to China.

1. Rhythm of the Central Axis: A culinary exploration through the city

Explore the Temple of Agriculture and enjoy ceremonial music at the Temple of Heaven. Then shop at Hongqiao Market, try Peking roasted duck at Quanjude, and take a stroll down Qianmen Street. The route highlights Beijing's Central Axis and its blend of tradition, flavor, and modern convenience.
