The Shenzhen Kunlun Red Star defeated Qiqihar Landi 2-0 in the Chinese Women's Ice Hockey League championship game in Harbin, northeast China's Heilongjiang Province, on Wednesday.

Though Qiqihar are the only team that ever beat Shenzhen since the league was established in 2023, they failed to repeat that magic this time. Hunter Barnett set up a long-range goal for Zhao Qi'nan four minutes into the second period, putting Shenzhen ahead 1-0.

The defending champions continued to dominate when Wen Lu banged a rebound into the net with 13 minutes left in the third period. Having secured 23 wins and one loss in the regular season, Shenzhen lifted the trophy again as the best-performing team in the league.
