On June 4, U.S. President Donald Trump suspended the entry of foreign nationals seeking to study or participate in exchange programs at Harvard University for an initial six months, amid an escalating dispute with the Ivy League institution.

Yoon-ji, a student from South Korea, said she once regarded America as a land of freedom and opportunity, but the Trump administration's move has severely undermined her trust in the U.S. Witnessing international students and her university come under pressure, Yoon-ji expressed disappointment and said she hopes the U.S. government will take the issue more seriously.
